Yeah Yeah Yeahs Give Props to the Rentals

Every other hip rock band seems to be getting into the covers game, so why not the Yeah Yeah Yeahs? The trio surprised us when, after running through renditions of 'Cheated Hearts' and 'Turn Into,' they launched into a tender acoustic version of the obscure Rentals tune 'You Should Be With Me' during their visit to our Interface studio on Wednesday. Karen, Nick, Brian and touring guitarist Imaad were all in great spirits and seemed even more excited than we were for their much-hyped performances with Sonic Youth at Brooklyn 's McCarren Pool this weekend.
