Spooning the Interface

Spoon's Britt Daniel deflowered the Interface on the left coast today and we couldn't have asked for a better band to kick things off.
It was just Britt, an acoustic guitar and his backing band iPod. He definitely lived up to the hype, if you can still call it hype after 12 years.

That's our man Jose's b-day cake. It's ice cream even.
Britt did 4 songs, but only 3 made the cut:
1) 'Metal Detektor'
2) 'Chips and Dip'
3) 'They Never Got You'
Check back on September 29 when Spoon's Interface goes live. In the meantime, take a look at their video for 'Two Sides of Monsieur Valentine.'
