Avast, Ye Land Lubbers!

Johnny Depp and Gore Verbinski recently decided it was about time someone put together a star-studded pirate song and sea chantey record. We agree! The two-disc collection, titled 'Rogue's Gallery,' features these pirate standards and much, much more:

'Leave Her Johnny' - Lou Reed
'Pinery Boy' - Nick Cave
'Lowlands Away' - Rufus Wainwright
'Shallow Brown' - Sting
'Coast of High Barbary' - Joseph Arthur
'Farewell Nancy' - Ed Harcourt

CAUTION: While 'Baltimore Whores' is an awesome classic, there is no 'Yo Ho Ho and a Bottle of Rum' to be found on either disc, which is very sad because it's the song Neil Diamond was born to record.

Oh, and John C. Reilly sings like three songs on it as well. We don't know why.



Sidenote: While we have an excuse to talk about pirates, does it enrage anyone else that Captain Morgan doesn't have a parrot? RIP CITY!
