The Shins (Finally) Finish New Album

The much delayed new Shins record, 'Wincing the Night Away,' has finally been completed and is now set for a January 2007 release. Frontman James Mercer laments the delay, but promises great things on the new album. "I was just talking to some of the people at Sub Pop who were listening to the rough mixes, and they agree with me that we've stretched. We're trying some different styles." Excitement! Big Excitement!
