In the early '80s they were revolutionary hardcore kids pissing all over the line of what hardcore and punk rock was expected to be. They made limitless, angry, aggressive music blended with their reggae and jazz background, creating a sound that has influenced everyone from the Beastie Boys to Operation Ivy. Now they have a DVD to document it.

Get a look at Bad Brains, the way they should be remembered on the 'Bad Brains Live CBGB 1982' DVD which captures the best footage from the band's classic, three-day (weekend) run starting on Christmas Eve in 1982.
New York City creening info and trailer after the jump.
Not only are the Bad Brains 'Rockin' for Light' on a DVD player near you, but the main man H.R. showed up and performed this past Sunday at the Gorilla Biscuits show at CBGBs. See the photos here.
Check out the trailer here. The film will be screening in Brooklyn, but if you aren't in NYC you can pre-order the DVD here.
