'The State' to Be Released Through iTunes

If you don't have a video iPod already, buy one now. The first season of MTV's brilliant, but cancelled, sketch comedy series, 'The State' will FINALLY be released through iTunes next Tuesday, September 26. A DVD release is still pending. If you're not familiar with the show, it featured all three members of Stella, the crew who made 'Wet Hot American Summer,' and the creators of 'Reno 911,' so it was pretty much the funniest show of all time. It also had an awesome theme song.

I just read this earlier via the STELLA mailing list. While it isnt a DVD, I'm still very psyched. MTV sucks for sitting on this. What a waste. Its probably in the same bin with the Nirvana Unplugged video. Though Courtney must have something to do with that.
