When did it become news to ape Rocket from the Crypt? I like Zorro playing organ, though. Weird.

C'mon zorro, ouch
Oh, boo hoo, you are so cool because Lifter Puller rocked and only YOU knew about them. Go pound sand. The best thing any minneapolis band ever did was get out of that hole of a city.

It made the song even seem slower and uninteresting. Even recording a video of them in front of 20 people (who WOULD be singing along - to any song ) would get Finn going. The idea should be to make him look like a fun loving musician, not like a mortuary supplies salesman. Let this post be the final word ...I wanted to see something to remind me of the band I saw last night.

October 27 2006 at 3:01 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyLifter Puller and The Hold Steady are the only bands that have been must see in concert, for me, for the last 10 years. I never miss them. This video is pretty amateur, however. The girl is hot and the guys are getting old and bloated. I think a lot of people judge them because they don't try hard to look like cool rockers. That's just stupid. Craig's lyrics are great, though I kind of miss the staccato cadence of previous material. Tad's big guitar jams are a fun addition. I just saw the Minneapolis show and it was phenomenal. Sold out First Ave. Everyone having a great time. I myself, always see old friends who have faded away come out for these shows. Outside after the show was like a college reunion. I hope the guys make some money. Craig quit a potentially lucrative job to pursue music full time. He's got a sharp mind, a lot of integrity, and he works hard.

This album rules, their best yet and this song is their best.
