TV on the Radio have been suspiciously reticent about sharing their inspiration for the title of their sophomore LP, 'Return to Cookie Mountain.' We -- aka "The Super Sleuths" -- are pretty sure we've figured out why. It's because they don't want to reveal their passion for Rosie O'Donnell's inspirational made-for-TV movie, 'Riding the Bus With My Sister.'
The clip below (which we dubbed with the TVOTR's 'I Was a Lover') features Rosie's mentally handicapped character building a "cookie mountain" out of those gross, Hydrox fake-Oreos nobody likes. Conclusion: 'Return to Cookie Mountain' was inspired by a Hallmark film! You heard it here first!
Need more Rosie? Keep reading for an excellent 'Riding the Bus With My Sister' video montage.

We've all built our own Cookie Mountains. It might have begun with Bert & Ernie, could have later found its way to the Mario Brothers, and may have finally wound up with TV On The Radio.
