If you are already acquainted with with Dustin Kensrue from his other band, don't let that prejudice you. His solo work is completely different. Kensue crafts honest, folk-influenced songs, not unlike the post-punk rhythms of early Paul Westerberg, with the country aesthetic of Mike Ness. If you are too hip for Kensrue, it's your loss. Look for an upcoming Interface performance, but in the meantime, grab an MP3 from his Equal Vision release 'Please Come Home' after the jump.
