The Shins, 'Phantom Limb' on 'SNL'

It's refreshing to see a band like the Shins on the 'Saturday Night Live' stage. It's even more refreshing to hear a band actually sound good on 'SNL.' They played their new single, 'Phanton Limb,' and went a bit retro with 'New Slang' to remind the 'Garden State' fans they are "that" band. 'Wincing the Night Away' hits stores a week from today and their tour begins the following day.

I do love the Shins but don't see why 'Phantom Limb' is the single on this album. There are three or four other tracks that are superior, but, I don't know, maybe the just aren't as accessible?
