The Photo Atlas hail from Denver and are a recent addition to Ultragrrl's rapidly growing Stolen Transmission label. The quartet picks up where At the Drive-In or Les Savy Fav left off, bringing melody, precise instrumentation and fury into each track. In a landscape where aggresive music has been beyond lame for some time, it's refreshing to hear it done well.
