It's merely the second (not the third, sadly) month of the year. Nonetheless, we'll still deliver to you the first of 3 monthly installments of the live-music program we thematically call 3x3. We've filled out all the necessary paperwork for all this splendiferous rock to occur -- in triplicate, natch.
Here's a little 3x3 refresher course: It's a tri-monthly show that features 3 live videos from 3 acts that thrill, excite and stimulate us (that's 3 verbs, if you're counting). In addition, the program features a 3-question interview with each artist or band, 3 things you need to know about that performer and what 3 other blogs are saying. We've rewritten the times table for you: Now 3x3 = good music!
For this episode of 3x3 we've culled live performances by Danish indie prog-rockers Mew, Nashville-influenced electro-folk from Cortney Tidwell and Brooklyn-based (by way of Staten Island) singer-songwriter Kevin Devine. Click here to have a look.

Hi, I think that the live performance of Imogen
Heap is the "Hottest New Music" I've heard in the past year. After listening to the live performance, I gave ear to the studio versions of
Daylight Robbery and Headlock...The live performance was infinately superior. Is there any way of getting the live performance on video?

Hey, I love this site, especially the full CDs feature.
Way to go, AOL. Definitely a step in the right direction. I hope it's working for you traffic-wise.
I'd like to see Pela on 3x3.
Cheers,
The Sieve
