Hendrix Has No Experience With 'Electric' Vodka

If you're quaffing Electric Hendrix vodka, hoping to get some inspiration from the ghost of Jimi, we're sorry to have to disappoint you.Experience Hendrix, LLC, the company that controls Jimi's legacy and is headed by stepsister Janie Hendrix, is adamantly denying that it has anything to do with the product.
"As a matter of strict policy, we would certainly never participate in promoting an alcoholic beverage," Hendrix said in a statement.
Since her guitar-god stepbrother was a notoriously violent drunk who likely died from asphyxiation on his own vomit after partaking in a cocktail of alcohol and prescription drugs, it's not surprising that the company is trying to distance itself from the psychedelic libation.
UPDATE: Experience Hendrix, LLC has now filed a federal lawsuit against the vodka company.

Pretty bold move to release a product with a celeb's name without any ok from the estate. maybe they were drunk?

Experience Hendrix is run by wicked people (Jimi's adopted step sister Janie Hendrix) who don't care about Jimi at all. Experience Hendrix LLC is a sham. They might control JImi's music, but are not representitive of his heart or soul. Leon Hendrix, JImi's brother is JImi's only realy family and Jimi would have approved of Leon launching Hendrix Electric Vokda......... which Rocks!!

Bought a bottle this weekend,because it looked unique. thought I'd save it for prospierty, then in a flash it was in the freezer,20 minutes later I was drinking the sweetest Vodka I've ever had.
Cold, I'ts a little on the heavy side (thick), with just a hint of the Rye Sweetness.I bought a second bottle the next day. Smooth is the only word for it.

I never heard that jimi hendrix was a violent drunk. so where did you hear this? and no one would no how he feels about his face on a bottle of vodka but him.

Know Janie from high school- the family is very responsible and cares about the image-
it's tacky and disrepectful to do this to his family.

How about Jimi Hendrix Diaper covers? Air freshener? "Authentic signature" boxershorts?Golf balls? Chairs where you sit on an image of his face? Hendrix Red Wine? Hell, why not exhume his corpse and move it to some gaudy purple haze memorial where we can sell plots next to him? Oops,all of the above has already been done by non other than Janie so called Hendrix herself! And the kicker?? She's his adopted stepsister and is of no blood relation whatsoever!! Jimi's real family was included in his father's numerous wills for nearly 30yrs but after Janie took over her stepdad's affairs in '96, that all changed! I'm happy to see Jimi's real brother who Jimi helped raise and other family members benefiting from his legacy.Janie's marketing some sugary energy drink. What's next? Hendrix Holy Water?? I'm going to support Jimi's REAL family and try the Vodka.

I was friends w/ JImi when he was hanging out in NYC, in the early days and I can tell you he loved his brother Leon and thought his adopted step-sisters name was Janice..... not Janie. He told me he was pissed his dad adpted Janie because Al (Jimi's dad) had give away 3 of Jimi's siblings to the orphanage becasue Al could not care for them. Jimi had no love for this imposter Janie Hendrix. She has no blood relationship, or love of JImi, Janie Hendrix is a fraud. She claims she is the natural sister of Jimi..... how can that be.... she's as white as Santa Clauses!!!
ps. Hendrix Electric Vodka is the only Leon Hendrix has, as Janie "the fake" Hendrix has shut out any blood relatives who are surviving Jimi.
