I'm a HUGE cursive fan. That said, this is, without a doubt, the worst video I've ever seen. When is this band going to wise up and hire a real director to shoot a video for chrissakes? This looks like it was done for a high school a/v class. It's embarrassing.

How can such an amazing band make some of the worst music videos I've ever seen?

Haha, I was thinking about the same thing of these people possibly being electrocuted. Other than that, I really adore Cursive, but this video was simply... bleak.

if you haven't noticed, they're not exactly focused on making music videos. they don't even enjoy touring for that matter. why would they need an amazing video? the song is enough in itself.

i like that brittany posted her myspace profile, but has it on private, so that we can't make fun of her and what we might consider "damn boring."

and tim, i think your next video should feature jared leto getting his nose busted by "fans" played in a loop. with maybe a fabio-bird-face thrown in for good measure.

I adore Cursive with a passion.I think that you can tell it's not meant to be an amazing video, so you people need to realise and stop slating it.I like the roughness and the scrappiness,it's extremily Pop Art,which is strange as I never concidered Cursive to be anything within a pop art genre.Yes maybe you could have made an amazing video, but I'm glad you guys stuck to your guns and decided to do it this way,it's oh so very artistic :)
CURSIVE I LOVE YOU MARRY ME :) xx

there was never a big bang, involving the creation of the world. we didn't explode here! God created life!maybe ur big bang should refer to bombs, of things that actually happened. look around u, nothing created itself, and everything has a creator, footprints, mountains, beautiful things. God created it all!

I think it's pretty cool. Seriously though, electrocution or just old fashioned goosing the undercarraige?

i love tim kasher. that said, his little appearances make me happy. cute vid, nothing big, nothing flashy. better than the dorothy video. now THAT was bad.

My theory is they put a bunch of random people in a quiet room (one at a time, of course) and then from somewhere they shot a gun. Or someone farted, which would explain the weird faces people made and their laughter.

Great band, great song, lousy video. I think they should have shown more illustrations and less people, but Cursive isn't really known for their videos anyway.
Layla, religion started out as a way for mankind to explain its existance. Now we're closer to explaining the real reasons, and they have nothing to do with God.

its people being happy and laughing.
    whats to not like?
this is maybe the best song on HH, so i realy dont think it needs to have an awesome video.

its also supposed to be that simple in my opinion cause the whole song is about why we dont need an explnation for rational thought and jsut be happy your alive.
    enjoy it.
