Today marks the 10th anniversary of the Notorious B.I.G.'s death. Whether you're a hip-hop fan or not, no true music aficionado's collection is complete without Biggie's 'Ready to Die.' This message is here because I got Biggies back for people like comment #7 roger! Lower cased for a reason because in my mind hes lower than B.I.G.S! If people only understood that people are born without a choice of who the're born by and what type of environment! roger is probably a white guy like me, except he has no common sense! Put yourself born in a ghetto and trying to choose which friends to grow up with, while still trying to protect yourself and start a life, without getting killed by someone who is lower than life! The United States could learn a lot about things if they weren't so labeling and 1-sided! America could use people like him as an inside ticket to society in this type of environment to try to help, to be a team (United States), not hipocritical? Just a little, dont ya think!

10 years ago, already that we lost one of the greatest? How sad was that period of time? 10 years doesn't make losing both him and Tupac so senselessly & so close together any easier. Still unsolved and still a tragic loss, his death left behind skillz that can never be duplicated & songs that will never get old! R.I.P BIG!

10 years ago today..when biggie died hip hop died with it in my opinion...theres just no meaning to the music anymore, and excuse me for sounding old (im only 21)...its ruining the majority of my generation and it scares the hell out of me..in the 60' during the vietnam war we were singing give peace a chance in washington DC to stop the war, thats power of music, now were just rapping about rims and grills...damn shame

YO Biggie is definately missed. There is a void in Hip Hop that still has not been filled. Over on Highbrid Nation we are celebrating Biggie's life and encouraging people to stop by and just give thier thoughts on the late veteran. You may want to check it out.
