Tonight, Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five became the first hip-hop act ever inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. We found this photo of hick-hop maestro Kid Rock putting the moves on the legend himself. It's been said that a picture is worth a thousand words. This one is priceless.

I agree there should be a hip hop hall of fame, hence the name " ROCK N ROLL " hall of fame should be reserved for ROCK N ROLL

Rock's Hall of Fame is as politicized as everything is today. How many Gold and Platinum has Neil Diamond received?...an icon in the Music Industry...yet, not ever a mention for the Hall of Fame. Eddie Cochrane had 1 or 2 hits, period. So why is he in the Hall? His contribution?, Neil Diamond has contributed a slightly more to the Industry, and where is he? Sitting home, and watching Grandmaster Flash be inducted. Shame at the Hall of Fame for not recognizing Neil Diamond, Deep Purple, Rare Earth, and many other more deserving Artists.

In all due respect to Grand Master Flash, I thought this was the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I fear there are many rock bands like Yes, Jethro Tull, J. Geils Band, Deep Purple, ect. that will be passed over for Rap and Pop artists in the coming years. Oh well its the music that really matters.

We have been covering the story of Grand Master Flash and the Furious Five for some time now over at Highbrid Nation and I'm extremely happy to see them reconized for what they contributed to the music industry. Them being inducted into the Rock & Roll hall of fame is such a milestone. Its a proud day for hip hop.
