Just when we thought a new Sarah McLachlan album (no, last year's Christmas effort doesn't count) would at least be in its inception phase, we see this: a very pregnant First Lady of Lilith vacationing in Hawaii. We mourn our loss but congratulate McLachlan and her husband/drummer Ashwin Sood. This will be the couple's second child.

The only time i ever listened to Sarah was at my sons funeral we had her Angel song played at my son's funeral.....that is such a beautiful song....but now on this pic of her emmmm hummmmm maybe a whole piece would of worked better for her.....or a nice lil cover up jacket......

Well I guess it's nice that she is proud that she is having a baby and is willing to show it off. I personally wouldn't do that, but that was her decision. I'm glad that she is confident in herself. A lot of pregnant women think they are huge. I know I did when I was pregnant with my son.

She's beautiful and shame on you. A one piece? I will wait as long as it takes for the next album and congrats on your second child Sarah and Ashwin. Put a jacket on and listen to the rest of her music before you pass judgement on a person who is proud. And has every right to be.

Right on #3! Pregnancy is a beautiful thing and a woman should be proud to show off the fact she is soon to be a mother! I wore bikinis during both of my pregnancies and my husband loved the "sexy mama" look!

good for her! when a woman is comfortable with her own body, especially when she's pregnant, she should wear what she feels like wearing.

I think some of us get caught up in the old cliche about how a woman dresses and behaves in public. She is dressed appropriately and makes pregnancy look good.

Oh come now ladies,
Pregancy is wonderful and mystical, and a true treasure, but let's be honest here, showing off a heffer body pregnant or not is NOT beautiful, it's grotesque, God I hate the PC movement, let's call a spade a spade here.
Is a fat, balding, pasty white guy celebrating his "natural" manhood and merely letting it all out? Hardly. I sense hypocrisy here.
Looks are superficial and shallow, and people shouldn't be judged by them, especially a pregnant woman, but let's refrain from trying to sugarcoat it shall we. It is what it is.
Pretty soon every lazy, arbitrary, half-ass behavior will be glamourized and celebrated and made something it isn't. Such shouldn't be enabled.

The mere fact that Sarah was advised to delay her pregnancy as it may hinder her music career makes her pregnancy more beautiful to me.

I am 4 months pregnant and if I looked that good in a bikini pregnant I definately would be wearing one too.... the people that are saying she look like a mantee and etc...obviously has never had the pleasure of being pregnant and bringing a life into this world...so stop being a hater and give her props for being a beautiful woman celebrating her pregnancy...congrads Sarah....can't wait for another beautiful album just like you....
