Ok so the girl can't write in English... obviously... so why couldn't she seek the help of an a writer whose profession is writing lyrics in the English language?? COME ON. This is the kind of CRAP that is crowding up playlist space at radio stations! Girl can't sing, THINKS she can play guitar and the only thing she does is belly dance! This line is actually a translation from the Spanish song, which makes more sense in context.

i like her music...and i am more interested in metal, rock, goth, & even a nice blend of all three genres. Shakira has talent and she is down to earth. she is a good belly dancer as well. she has more talent than the likes of some of those pop stars of the millenium. And good looks, too!!

I love these lyrics! They appeal to the majority of flat-breasted America. Also, Shakira is a genius and has been writing poetry since a young age. I hate these stupid lists that Spinner makes they are always WAY off. They are good to read if you wanna have an aneurysm.

She's saying "Good thing I'm not the typical, voluptious supermodel or you might mistake me as thing to be conquered—mountains, get to the top of the mountain, claim your territory—as opposed to a real human being." It'a a great line, unless you're a man into completely one-dimensional women. It's really not that hard to decipher, people. It's not cryptic or a case of bad English. Does noone remember their grammar school lessons? All metaphors are going to sound ridiculous if taken in a literal context.

People don't think when they write their lyrics, ex. Fly on the Wall by Miley Cyrus, "Don't you wish you could be a fly on the wall, a creepy little sneaky little fly on the wall" The way she dances is worse than what britteny spears wore for concerts! Not only that but Miley can not sing, unlike her father, Miley has given a new term to "white trash" as nothing of her songs/videos are what people my age dont need!!
