'Lovers Who Uncover,' The Little Ones

Team Spinner checked out the Little Ones at SXSW on the tip that they sounded like Lightning Seeds meets some other band that I forgot already. I put LS' 'Pure' on many a mix tape so I was down. And damn, them dudes is good. Every song they played was catchy but none so much as 'Lovers Who Uncover,' which for the rest of SXSW was known as the Ye Ye Ye Ye Ye Ye Ye Ye Ye Yeah song since homeboy jumped in with the Ye Ye Ye Ye Ye Ye Ye Ye Ye Yeahs at every opportunity.

Shortly after the show, the song was downloaded and placed on my hi-fi sound system Blackberry. For the next few days, 'Lovers Who Uncover' was played on full mono blast all across Austin as we bounced from spot to spot in the Saturn Ion. On the way to Magnolia's, it was all Hey Hey Hey Hey-Oh. In the parking lot of the frozen custard place it was all Oh No Oh No Oh Noohohohoh. And yes, on the way to the Broken Spoke it was all Ye Ye Ye Ye Ye Ye Ye Ye Ye Yeah.

Do yourself a favor and get down with 'Lovers Who Uncover.' It's got the Yeah Yeah Yeahs bested by like 7 Yeahs.
