Now Meatloaf was, indeed a talented artist, and an ambitious young man, knowing exactly where he wanted his career togo. But he DID have some lame-os to his credit, this being one of them, I'm not sure who wrote it, Jim Steinman, maybe? I saw him at a small SAn Fran club when he was riding high with Bat Out Of Hell, one of the BEST hard-rock songs ever. I had mt 5-year old son with me, they didn't have laws against under-age kids back then, he had to stand atop the table to see the stage. After a standing ovation for "BAT" he delved into a few others that were not his best. The High pouint of the show was when he asked "ANY REQUESTS?" and my kid yelled out loud "GET OFF THE STAGE!!

I'm so sick of people talking **** about "I'd do anything for love" by Meatloaf. Proof that people are too ****ing stupid to actually listen to the whole song.

At the end of the song, the lyrics go:

Girl: I know the territory - I've been around,

Sooner or later you'll be screwing around.

No I won't do that!

****ing DUH. He would do anything for love except screw around with other women.
