Band Reinvents Itself ... on Wikipedia

Wikipedia has fast become the ultimate source of information on just about anything. But is the community-driven always accurate? Michael Scott from NBC's 'The Office' thinks so, sparking fans to wreak havoc on Wikipedia's negotiation entry.
Denver's disco-rockers the Photo Atlas told Spinner that they let their pal in Wyoming get creative on their Wikipedia entry. It now boasts that members of the band went to high school with Notorious B.I.G., met at a Savage Garden concert and interned for Orville Redenbacher.
Drummer Devon Shirley talked to Spinner about their little interweb joke. "I love it. It's a beautiful thing when kidney transplants bring people together. I think we should encourage an increase of human organ exchange. I would call this system 'Swap and Flop' or 'Switch and Stitch.'"
A sampling of their totally untrue Wikipedia hijinks:
- Originally from Marcy Houses housing project in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn
- Alan Andrews was abandoned by his father Adnes Andrews when he was twelve years old
- Second guitarist Bill Therkield joined a month after Shirley, sacrificing his blossoming career tempering "Legend of Zelda" hero Link's Master Sword
- Attended George Westinghouse High School in Downtown Brooklyn with fellow rappers Notorious B.I.G. and Busta Rhymes
