Kings of Leon Party Like It's 1976

We stole the very vibey Sessions footage that our pals across the pond shot with KOL and encoded it for all y'all. Take a peek at their performance of 'On Call' below. It literally looks like it was shot in 1976, and dude's sweater is worth the price of admission alone.

The band performed five more songs from 'Because of the Times,' including 'Arizona,' 'McFearless,' 'Black Thumbnail,' 'My Party' and 'Charmer.' You can watch all of 'em and the interview here.

God I love KOL. They just get better and better every time they release something. I've seen them twice in concert, second time supporting Pearl Jam but I only went to see KOL. Each album has brought something toally new, fans never know what to expect, but we know we'll get a great suprise. This new album is so good I've listened to nothing else since it came out. For me, even if they never release another album KOL will be one of my favourite bands for the rest of my life! And P.S. KOL is THE BEST band live! All my friends are now KOL converts and if you don't like them, you are seriously disturbed.

I was born and raised in SF. Was in high school in the 60's. I saw some of the great ones; Cream, Led Z, Hendrix, Who, Quicksilver, Butterfield, Allman Bros when Duane Allman was cookin'. These guys are absolutely in their class. I saw them two times at the Great American Music Hall and as a opening for Dylan. I was truly embarassed by my contemporaries in the audience that they have got so old. These guys would have been stars in my day but my generation just forgets or... their hearing got fried during the day. This band just cooks.Their albums are wearing out my system.

Awesome song. Awesome band. One of the very few proper rock bands that give 100% attitude/sweat/tears/heart and soul into their music. they truly rock. If i'm ever lucky enough to be reincarnated as a rock star, this is exactly the sort of music i'd wish to be playing. long live KOL. Keep it up guys. you changed my life. No sh*t. And no i'm not some teeny fan i'm a 30+ male who's been waiting to hear truly legendary music for a long time. You are up there with the greats except this time its happening now. Right now. get on board. Enjoy them now and see them live cause people will be still talikg about this group when i'm long gone...
