Spinal Tap Reunite to Save the World

Can a band that never really existed actually reunite ... again? Well, if that band is Spinal Tap, then hell yeah.
The faux-rockers immortalized in the 1984 cult mockumentary 'This is Spinal Tap' -- singer David St. Hubbins (Michael McKean), guitarist Nigel Tufnel (Christopher Guest) and bassist Derek Smalls (Harry Shearer) -- will regroup for a special performance at London's Wembley Stadium as part of the worldwide Live Earth concerts on July 7.
"They're not that environmentally conscious, but they've heard of global warming," 'Spinal Tap' director and co-star Rob Reiner told the Associated Press. "Nigel thought it was just because he was wearing too much clothing -- that if he just took his jacket off it would be cooler."
