Sheryl Crow Pisses Off One of God's People

It sucks to be Sheryl Crow right now. As if Karl Rove isn't tossing enough hate her way, God decided to throw a little of his own. OK, well, not God per se, but the Roman Catholic archbishop of St. Louis, Raymond Burke, who resigned his position as head of the Cardinal Glennon Children's Foundation after the charity's board of governors allowed Crow to be the featured performer for a benefit concert.

Burke called the singer "a high profile proponent of the destruction of innocent lives" and considers her appearance "an affront to the identity and mission of the medical center, dedicated as it is to the service of life and Christ's healing mission."
