    Snoop Dogg Banned From Australia

Rapper Snoop Dogg won't be putting another shrimp on the barbie anytime soon, as the Australian government has canceled his visa and banned him from entering their country. Immigration Minister Kevin Andrews told an Aussie radio station, "He doesn't seem the sort of bloke we want in this country," citing Mr. Dogg's past associations with Los Angeles-based gang the Crips and legal troubles involving drugs and guns.

Considering Australia's past as a penal colony, one would think they could handle a bad boy like Snoop, but until the rapper cleans up his act, it's fo' shizzle he won't be welcome in the land Down Under. Read the full story.

I think banding Snoop Dogg from Australia is a good thing. It's fo'shizzle he won't be welcome in other counrty besides the land down under. He has to clean up his act as far as drugs, guns and the people he associates with, like the crips. He's just a rich California punk, who has to learn the hard way. What a waste of pure talent!! I like some of his music, not all of it. Some of his music degrades woman, especially black woman.

How do you get banned from a whole continent? In retrospect no one accounts for any of the good a person does if their public persona requires them to "bad boys". look at Eminem or 50 cent. Why the hell isn't 50 banned?

I just think that this is probably news that was predictable. I wouldn't want to see him anywhere outside of North America. I guess his music is just not for me but I don't blame Australia for not taking him.

All celebrities tend to get their way when trouble is looming. Either they are acquitted of charges that we all know were committed by them or they get a slap on the wrist. I'm not saying the ban of Snoop is well-deserved, but he is not getting his way this time. If Australia has less crime in its country and Snoop with his entourage causes a commotion, which is more then likely, who knows how the public will react. It's better off and they are doing the right thing, protecting their residents from trouble causing people like Snoop Dogg.

I can't lie Snoop, I wanna stick my foot up your stupid ass.You and alot of dumn asses like you are sending these young brothers mixed messages.one day you wanna talk positive and the next day you wanna talk about the dumb ass crips and some stupid ass blue rag. man this is 2007, did you get that notice yet?I'm a 53 year old brother from Philly and i'm here to tell you that there are no more good leaders like Malcolm X, H Rap Brown,or Martin Luthor King, Angela Davis, Bobby Seals or Elijha Mohammad. Yeah, y'all sit back and talk about old school but the real deal is y'all don't know shit about what we went through and you probeblydon't want to know because it will make you all look real silly. y'all act like you're afraid to grow up. Try it young brothers; and trust me, it only adds quality to your life and shows you a side of yourself that you'll learn to embrace.
