Hey losers, you all can listen to that damn crap they call rock these days. When I was a teenager the country and rock were not that far apart. They all told a story! Not like that head bangin' against a wall crap those idiots with the gold chains, etc call music???? Cash, Elvis were the real stars and still are. McBride does a heck of a good job keeping that type of music alive !!!!!!!!!!

actually, she did do some "rockin" when she was younger and she did the crossroads thing with pat benatar. and by saying "pre-rock star jobs," it doesn't have to be implied literally. country music has given a lot to the music industry so before you you start talkin, get your facts straight.

SEMI-CELBRITIES???? IF country is so off on it's own, and SO FAR from Rock, then why is Bon Jovi now joining the ranks of Sugarland, and why was he featured at the last Country Music Awards ceremony?
I think you need to get your facts straight before you publicly bad mouth country, and talk about how far away from rock it is. You don't know what you are talking about.
And by the way, you must be extremely jealous of Martina McBride to want to bad mouth someone of such great talent. Boo hoo for YOU!

Deanna-THANK GOD that Martina is not rock. She sings about real people doing real stuff & sends out positve messages. She's one that is filthy rich & a good mom. ;) Garth, music in general, and her kids are all darn lucky to be aquainted with this lady.
