Rod Stewart: Grave Digger
After playing semi-pro soccer, Rod the Mod abandoned his athletic dreams to work with the dead. He dug graves at London's Highgate Graveyard but laid down his shovel after just a few weeks.

I'm glad you didn't stay with grave digging and chose singing over soccer as your profession..You keep us all Forever Young.

I do not know if he had to do it by hand as we did but if he did its a tough job that gets very little respect. No rock star treatment in the grave. It just explains Rods connection in his music to the huddled masses. Stay forever young. Everybody.
