This song has open many eyes to Child Abuse, I had work with many childern that don't dare say anything cause thy are afraid, but I have work with many that do say something, and people that know about it has turn a blind eye, and the ANGELS fall thru the cracks...... We need tougher laws and punshments

This is a really sad song....Martina McBride is a really good singer and god her music can make you grab a tissue box.
If you know a child being abused call someone before it is too late....

this song made me cry so much. the lyrics are so true, people always look at the kid with the clothes torn and bruises on their faces as though they are a horrible creature, not stopping to think they are abused. Its so sad, people need to end the abuse and know that it DOES actually exist.

How or why someone could hurt a child is beyond me. Children are helpless, they need to be taken care of and loved, not beaten and abused! People who abuse children should, in my book suffer the same punishment as rapist and murderers. They did not ask to be born, it is not their fault that "Mom" is having a hard time or "Dad can't deal with the crying. A VERY sad song!

Not one victim of child abuse...all of them. Working with children I see it every day. This is one of mine (and my seven year old daughters) favorite songs. Its so sad but makes you stop and think and touches your heart. The kind of song you cry to just thinking about it.
