I was never much of a Bee Gee's fan, but the one they did about the mining disaster ("Have you seen my wife, Mr. Jones") was exquisitely sad. So is Brian Wilson's "Warmth of the Sun". EVERYONE has done an amazing job with this topic - I could read the responses for hours.

I suggest to at least look up the song and give it a listen or at least read the lyrics before you condemn her. Her vocals along with the words make this song a powerful statement against the worst, in my honest opinion, crimes in the world.

When I saw at the end that her little friend was an angel waiting for her, I cried for an hr. It was sooo touching. Please watch the video!

November 30 2009 at 10:30 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyWhen this came out I was about 6 and these things were happening to me, I cried when it came on the radio in class, my teacher asked what was wrong and she got me out of there to foster care for a while, it's better now, somewhat, but it still makes me cry...
November 10 2009 at 6:13 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyThis is one of THE most depressing songs known to man. WHY hasn't the child abused stopped yet? Why beat a child to begin with?
