I love Bonnie Raitt, and this is truly a great (if that's the right term) sad "losing love" song. But for my nickel, the saddest love songs are the ones about never even getting the chance...like Linda Ronstadt's "Long Long Time." Man, talk about a weeper!

By the way, Harry Nilsson did not write "Without You", he just recorded it (and I believe won a grammy for his performance). It was written by a member of the group Badfinger, and done by them first.

Yes! Excellent choice. This song means a lot to me, as it does to many, because it captures that feeling of being hopelessly in love so perfectly. And someone above mentioned "Without You" which was recorded by both Badfinger and Harry Nilson, Also a great sad song.
