OMG!!!! This is the BEST song ever.....from the monent I first heard this song...I fell in love with it....Brad Paisly and Alison Krauss deliver the lyrics soooo well!!! It is just a heartbreaking song....and even sadder video!

This song reminds me of my uncle who committed suicide - he would have rather been dead instead of living without his wife because he loved her that much; that life without her was meaningless if she wasn't with him. It isn't a "hillbilly" song or a drinking song - it is a song about the devotion and everlasting love that someone can have for another.

the first time i heard this song i cried for a good few minutes after with my sister. yes its about drunk people killing themselves but that kind of thing happens all the time. thats why its sad is bc people choice to take the easy way.

I love this song. It is very heart breaking. Okay, so it's about "drunks" killing themselves, but it's about human mistakes and the pain that comes with it. Truelly it has touched me.
