Jesse Malin Gets Shot With Bruce Springsteen

If getting Bruce Springsteen to sing on your album is a home run, then getting him to appear in your video is a guaranteed grand slam. For those keeping note, score four for Jesse Malin.

The New York singer-songwriter shot the video for 'Broken Radio' -- a duet with Springsteen on Malin's new album, 'Glitter in the Gutter' -- with the veteran rocker in New York last week. "I met Bruce a couple of years ago when we did the Light of Day show," Malin tells Spinner. "We kept in touch and he said he'd like to be a part of the new album. 'Broken Radio' just felt like it would work as a duet."

While the two are fans of one another's work, Malin is quick to pick his Springsteen favorite. "My favorite Springsteen LP is Nebraska because it was the one that me made really get what he was doing," he says. "Stark, cinematic and very, very honest. Great songs. Great stories."
