Bo Diddley Hospitalized After Stroke

Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Bo Diddley is listed in 'guarded' condition today at a hospital in Omaha, Neb., after suffering a stroke. The 78-year-old rock and blues legend was hospitalized on Sunday after a concert in western Iowa, during which he was reportedly acting disoriented. His publicist reports that the stroke has affected the left side of his brain, impairing his speech.Diddley has been an iconic figure in rock history since he topped the charts in 1955 with the self-titled album 'Bo Diddley.' He's also known for hits like 'Who Do You Love,' 'Mona,' and 'Before You Accuse Me.' One of the founding fathers of rock 'n' roll, Diddley was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1987. He received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 1998.
