it sounds kind of like old-school SP, shockingly enough... i don't hate it.

Is there really a guitar solo? No wonder Iha bailed.

Have.. you ever listened to the Smashing Pumpkins? There's lots of Guitar Solos. Congrats on knowing Iha's name. Now impress me by knowing about the actual music.

SP is my favorite band ever.

Nothing but modern rock tripe. Is this really the same Will C. that wrote "1979"? God-fucking-Allah this sucks. 'Pumpkins shoulda stayed gone, or just toured and played *good* material.

^^^ Spamming asshole.
This is a solid song. I honestly thought this was going to be a BS album, but this sounds 100% authentic. I am pretty impressed. Rock on. \m/

Breakdown sounds like old Gish era Pumpkins. The chorus is typical Billy - minor chords throughout the vocal leads. I absolutely love it. Screw the naysayers. The hype for this album alone will guarantee success.

Yeah, this rocks, .... emo, and whatever. Can't wait for the new album.

Best band, pumpkin heads rejoice. Don't hear Zwan in this one. What a great way to return with a single that's undeniably classic SP.

Not bad, but I wish it was harder all of the way through.
Regardless - this is 10x better than the crap they ended with previously.

this is picking up right where "untitled" left off.
billy said if he got the band back it wouldn't be milk and cookies... hehe

"Is there really a guitar solo? No wonder Iha bailed."
Did you seriously just say that? As an owner of a 327 song smashing pumpkins collection (yes over 30 released and unreleased albums and EPs) I have to say they have LOTS of solos and some of my favorite solos ever. Corgan and Iha had a wonderful warm feeling to all their solos and leads and it was one of the things i loved them for.

Through the whole history of SP there has ALWAYS been solos. Seems like kids these days think that solos are the downfall of music. Emo music is the downfall of all music. Music like this is great for listening at any time especially roadtrips. Nothing's better on a roadtrip than good music. I know I'll be picking this album up for sure.

I agree sounds like old school sp, but it's great. Vocals do sound unmixed not sure if this is intentional or not. The song also has a new element as well as the old sp vibe

I like the song, though it sounds a bit like QOTSA, a huge bit, and a bit like Untitled (the leads). The ending is great if you ask me, pure Pumpkins. Hope the other songs don't sound like anything else out there, and certainly not emo - wtf was that comment about? Rock on!

Wow...
Put on some headphones and turn it up. This is bada**. Not a huge fan of SP's past few releases, but this really rips.
