Youth Group Hates Hipsters
When Aussie indie-pop band Youth Group performed for the Interface, they performed acoustic versions of four songs from 'Casino Twilight Dog' and filled us in on exactly how they feel about hipsters. Singer Toby Martin told Spinner, "We hate hipsters, we f****** hate hipsters." To hammer the point home, the band's latest video features the members hunting for hipsters in the woods. Their hipster-hating doesn't extend to the members of Coldplay, as they also told us that they don't mind being compared to the British megaband. I don't particularly care for hipsters either, but Youth Group are boring and pretty much bring nothing new to the indie rock table. I don't think alienating a particular set of people is the way to gain fans...especially if no one knows who you are in the first place.

Indie rock is the anal cancer of music so who the hell cares what any of them think. Lock them all in a room and let them fight to the death, an then force the winner to listen to Acid Bath till they go insane and have to be put down.
