'Schizophrenic'
JC Chasez, 2004
Rise: After Justin Timberlake, Chasez was the most high-profile member of monster boy band 'N Sync.
Fall: Rock, electronic, Prince-style funk experiments all failed to sway the public, and the album title and cover photo offended some mental-health advocates.
Stats: 'Justified' (Timberlake's solo debut, 2002), 3.6 million; 'Schizophrenic,' 120,000

JC's got talent.
His best work was as a guest vocalist to electronic artists.
Check out his lead vocals w/Basement Jaxx in the song "Plug It In." There's also his emotional "Force of Gravity" and thumpin' "Somnabulist (Simply Being Loved)"
Both are collaborations with BT, and both are absolutely stellar!
I remember Justin more than I do JC back in the NSYNC days. Personally, I do think Justin has some very good songs out. When he teamed up with Timbaland, I think that's what got him success. JC I think needs to be promoted more.

It's sad that he's not getting the credit he deserves. He's the one with the BETTER voice ! I've liked the 3 songs I've heard from his upcoming cd.... but my favourite is "I'm Not Sleeping Alone". It's such a brilliant track.
Justin Timberlake sounds like a female...on helium.
JC Chasez has way more talent and potential than Justin. One day, justice in favor of JC will be served and Justin will crash and burn-badly!
I take offense at the quote: "The reason everyone remembers Justin is because he is the more memorable one."
The reason "everyone" remembers Justin as the front man of NSYNC is because of the promotional lies that were told or implied by his record label during the lead up to Justified's release.
Jason must be a Justin fan. ;)
I don't feel sorry for JC because I believe cream rises to the top and I'm sure he'll find solo success someday. I do agree that part of the problem has been management. A lot of the problem *seems* to be a lack of a plan for promotion on Jive's part.
Is anybody else sick of people blaming everyone but JC for his solo failure? I am. Stop whining JC fans and deal with it. Start putting the blame where it belongs and that is squarely on JC and his management team.

However there are hundreds of people as talented as JC who never experience what he has experienced as a member of NSYNC. He at least had a chance to become a solo artist. Think of the thousands who are equally talented that never get a chance. Stop feeling sorry for JC. He tried and flopped. What can you do? Not much really.
