Courtney Love Returns to the Stage

Courtney Love will return to the stage tonight, June 1, at L.A.'s House of Blues. Joining Love in a rare live appearance will be Linda Perry, who produced Love's new album, 'Nobody's Daughter.' Love made it clear to Spinner that she's ready reclaim her title -- one she calls, "Best in show."

"I've been writing this record since I've been sober -- almost two years now," she tells Spinner "I feel like a f***ing caged panther. I just want to get out and rock. I'm just so antsy about it. I can't eat, I can't sleep -- I need to play."

Love previewed some of the new material -- including the tunes 'Sunset Marquis' and 'Pacific Coast Highway' -- last year when she, Perry and Billy Corgan performed at a benefit for the Gay and Lesbian Community Center in L.A. "You could've heard a f***ing pin drop," she says. "They didn't say a word. It was like, 'Wow.'"
