--'Pinhead,' Ramones (1977)
The chant, often led in concert by a sign-toting roadie, might've been the most enduring thing these punk pioneers ever crafted. They borrowed it from the creepy 1932 cult flick 'Freaks,' in which a host of side-show denizens surrounded an interloper and burbled "Gooble gooble, we accept her, one of us!" Director Robert Altman, in his 1992 film 'The Player,' adapted the phrase as well, spreading the gospel of pinhead-dom to a decidedly different audience.

Sheesh.
The Ramones technically invented punk rock, but they really wanted to just bring back the fun into rock'n'roll (we need them more now than ever!). The use of nonsence slogans like "gabba gabba hey!" is one example of how the Ramones accomplished that.

* Yes I Love that song too, I use to sing it to my children and My younger brother before that.
Ramones = finally something good among all this rap and pop crap (Nelly? what the @$#%! only morons cared about this dirtbag AT THE TIME, and he has now been forgotten even by them). the Ramones, the Marcels, and Sam The Sham are the only things on this list that are worthwhile.
