The show's songs were later covered by cool rockers like Sleater-Kinney, Rufus Wainwright and Bob Mould.

ah! freaking love this movie! hedwig rocks.
i recenty bought meatloaf's bat out of hell, and it's quickly become one of my all time favorite albums. i didn't know that bat out of hell influenced john cameron so much. i think he and i would have a lot in common.

If I were a woman, I too would be a lesbian. I am sure of that. The problem with the males in this world, is that they do not understand the female desire of 'lovemaking.' They come-a runnin and jumping and do not take the time to really love a woman. Gentleness, slowness, and tenderness is what women want. We males will continue to go along, not misunderstood, but just plain "stooooopid."

In my experience, you are only about half right. Sometimes, women just want a good hard f*cking. But you're right about men being stupid when it comes to understanding what women want. It's not even that hard; all you have to do is stop being selfish and concentrate on her and how she reacts to what you do to her.
