k.d. lang, the Pet Shop Boys, George Michael, Melissa Etheridge and Rufus Wainwright were among the headliners at Equality Rocks, a football-stadium-sized concert event that took place in April 2000, on the eve of the gay-rights Millennium March on Washington.

I was at a club in Santa Monica Calif and had the time of my life with her, very down to earth and a heart of gold thanks KD for the memories and your voice that sounds as if it is coming from the heavens.

Funny--she is a drunk! My mate owns a lesbian bar in whollywood.She was so arrogant she refused to pay for her drinks claiming she was KD Lang and they should be free so she was told to leave.As she staggerd toward the door out she fell flat on her drunken ***

Country Music did not "turn it's back" on kd...She had a country sound in the early years and country fans enjoyed her work...Over the years kd evolved into a more bluesy dark and soulful sound that didn't fit the country top 40 style so her audience has also changed...If kd started doing country tunes again,country fans would love it..I would!
