At every show there's that dude who brings the whole experience down. We've studied him, and with help from our friends the Comas, we've assembled a guide to concert etiquette. Avoid these ten show no-nos, lest you become That Dude.

depends on what type of show they mean.
if its a hardcore show, it doesnt matter how tall or short you are, you have to fight for your place haha.
but thats the fun of it.

I attended a Cheryl Crow concert in LA, a fund raiser for then-candidate Tom Hayden (I was the one who stopped the band and changed the words, "Are you strong enough to be my MAYOR?" and Cheryl comented from the stage kiddingly, that I should help her write songs).

ANYWAY, turns out the people there for dinner had their view blocked as it got crowded. After I noticed I was in the way, I pointed out others were blocking the diner's view.

An L.A. lawyer came up to me later, next to the bar and said, "Here, I like your style!" and he gave me passes to Magic Castle. I wonder if the woman with him knew he was tracking me down?

Anyway, that was years ago, sure wish I used those passes!

OMG, i know this is an old post and I am replying super late, but I swear that is me at EVERY event I go to. I some how ALWAYS get stuck behind the tall person and they move around turn to make out with their girl UGH drives me crzy..tht is funny, thought it was just me
