Cold War Kids Cover Sam Cooke at Bonnaroo

A record crowd wasn't enough to welcome the Cold War Kids to their first 'Roo. Equipment problems and a stage-crasher plagued an otherwise outstanding Day Two set that opened with 'We Used to Vacation.' The band also rocked a new tune called 'Dreams Old Men Dream,' as well as a cover of Sam Cooke's 'A Change Is Gonna Come.' During the down time, the L.A. quartet, who'll be hitting the road with the White Stripes this summer, expressed their excitement over sharing a bill with the Roots, and recommended that the audience check out Dr. Dog's Day Three performance.
