Cold War Kids, Elvis Perkins, CYHSY Go Acoustic for Bonnaroo Jam
- Posted on Jun 16th 2007 1:45PM by Benjy Eisen

At noon in the Bonnaroo press tent on Day Three, Cold War Kids, Elvis Perkins in Dearland and Clap Your Hands Say Yeah's Alec Ounsworth collaborated for a private, acoustic set. The musicians opened with CWK's 'Expensive Tastes,' and played various tunes from both the CWK and Perkins' catalogues. It was musical chairs as the musicians switched up instruments -- from percussion to strings -- on a whim in the footloose and fancy free spirit of Bonnaroo. Such sets are a Saturday tradition in the festival's media compound. Past performers include Iron and Wine's Sam Beam, My Morning Jacket's Jim James and Polyphonic Spree.
