Ah, Bjork. The Icelandic quirkstress that says what she means and means what she says even if nobody knows what the hell she's talking about. Recently, Ms. Gudmundsdottir name-checked Bob Dylan -- whom she's set to share the stage with for the first time at the Austin City Limits festival in September -- and had the cojones to call his music "literature music," expounding the thought with, "boring three-chord structures serve as a bed for words."Antony Hegarty of Antony and the Johnsons, however, got off a little easier.Bjork -- who duets with Hegarty on two songs from her latest album, 'Volta' -- recalled the first time she heard his voice. "I was in my kitchen in New York," she told Dummy magazine. "Someone brought me his then unreleased album. I thought it was a black woman."
Note to self: Never ask Bjork, "Does this make me look fat?"
