Dave Navarro Gets Put on Display in Vegas

Dave Navarro doesn't need an excuse to party, but the rocker had two outstanding reasons to celebrate one particular night last month: 1) It was his 40th birthday and 2) Navarro was honored with his own case at Las Vegas' Hard Rock Hotel.

"There are some clothes and a five-and-a-half foot tall photo strip of me and Angelyne, from L.A," Navarro tells Spinner of the items on display. "[There's also] a copy of my book and the 'Three Days' video. It's just a combination of a lot of things I've done."

And while Navarro is no stranger to professional accolades, the former Jane's Addiction and Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist was humbled -- and even a little surprised -- by the enshrinement. "I'm just really honored that they wanted to display them," he says. "That was more moving than anything that's necessarily in there -- the fact that anybody would want to look at it."
