Exclusive MP3: Tom Waits and Kronos Quartet, 'Way Down in the Hole'

As the Dalai Lama watched from the audience, Tom Waits performed a career-spanning 2003 set in support of the Healing the Divide foundation, with the Kronos Quartet serving as his backup band. "Working with the Kronos Quartet was like firing a .38 Special with a clam shell holster: beauty meets brains," Waits said in a statement. The show spawned the not-for-profit live album 'Healing the Divide: A Concert for Peace and Reconciliation.'
