Flavor Flav Set to Roast With Ice-T, Jimmy Kimmel

Since we have to admit to fond childhood memories of Frank Sinatra getting ribbed by such legendary entertainers as Totie Fields and Nipsey Russell, we'll most assuredly be tuning in when Flavor Flav -- who we've often thought of as the Sinatra of his generation -- gets the roast treatment next month.

Sadly, Totie and Nipsey have previous engagements -- they were booked into the Great Beyond some time ago -- but Flav will still get his comeuppance from comedy titans such as Patton Oswalt, Jimmy Kimmel and, um, Ice-T. No word as to whether or not the roast, which will tape in Los Angeles on July 22 and air August 12 on Comedy Central, will feature a guest appearance by the hype artist's one-time gal-pal Brigitte Nielsen, who -- last we heard -- was working on landing the Rutger Hauer role in the touring company of that 'Blade Runner' musical.
