What: 'My City of Ruins'
Where: America: A Tribute to Heroes
When: September 21, 2001
Springsteen's heart-wrenching ode to a fallen city was actually written for his old stomping ground of Asbury Park, N.J. But in the wake of the September 11 attacks, the Boss' performance of the song -- which opened the 'Heroes' telethon -- became a haunting hymn for a fallen New York City.

I have been to ALOT of bruce concerts and this is him at his best!!!
Hey folks, we seem to have forgotten what happened JUST YESTERDAY! That whole thing was awesome - thank you Al Gore, now we need to "Answer the Call" - you remember the call we were asked to answer yesterday !!!! I will, shorter showers instead of my bath that I love and I called the local recyclers to start separating my trash, and when I can I am going to reuse the plastic bags I get at the market. So you may have loved the past, but now we have to answer the call for our future!!

July 08 2007 at 7:38 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplySo great, so respected by all. Blacks love him and know he feels their pain. May God bless this spiritual man. I love Bruce Springsteen. Wish I could meet him in person. Would really like to talk to him. He is so talented. Bless you Bruce. Please don't change. It is not all about money with you. You use your talent to speak for the voiceless. I hope you! Continue writing and singing for the next generation. May you live forever.

This list is a bunch of crap. Queen at Live Aid stole the entire show in London and phili. Somebody needs to teach whoever made this list what is right. !!!

Your list stinks!!!
Shame on You!!!
I want addresses to whoever is responsible for creating this list so I can go and beat the hell out of them until they admit to being dumber than a bucket of rocks!! #2 Pink Floyd (Live 8) #1 Queen (Live Aid)!!!! End of story!!
July 08 2007 at 5:47 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI must agree with other posters here...Queen and Pink Floyd are hands down the best. Neil Young's concerts for The Bridge School are great as are the performances of Phil Collins and Genesis (I think they had one of the best performances yesterday, too). And I loved performances by Jackson (We Are The World was very cool for its time) and Willie Nelson. Justin Timberlake? Madonna? (to quote Steve Martin) Well, EX-CUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUSE MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
July 08 2007 at 5:44 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyWhere is Queen at Live Aid? That AMAZING performance warrants at the very least the top three!
