    Best Benefit Performances: No. 8

    Madonna

    Who: Madonna
    What:
    'Music'
    Where: Live 8 (London)
    When:
    July 2, 2005

Not to be outdone by Paul McCartney and U2's 'Sgt. Pepper' collaboration, Madge pulled out all the stops -- break dancers, a gospel choir, angelic outfits -- and gave London's Hyde Park a show that had bourgeoisies and rebels bumping-and-grinding as one.

I've been listening and watching Madonna for at least 24 years now. She has only gotten better with age. I remember when she was on her "Like A Virgin" tour and how she was just a beginner. She was so different back then. She did a really good job at this concert. She's always able to get the crowd going and excited. She has such a stage presence to her, it's just amazing.

She is the most amazing woman in the whole world. I've followed her entire career, and I love her more and more every day. Anyili needs to just shut up. This person doesn't know what they are talking about. There is no other performer better than Madonna. When she said she was going to take over the world, she did, and I couldn't be prouder!!

this self-aggrandizing woman, whose greatest talent lies in her ability to promote herself, rather than in so-called music, made the list, and Queen at Live Aid didn't? come on.

I will never understand how this woman,Madonna, became so popular. She is mediocre at best. Her singing is poor and her dancing(?) and rhythm are even worse.

i've liked madana for a very long time until i saw her preform in new your city, her tickets were 500 a pop. her t-shirts were 150 each. well see sucked!!!she wore a t-shirt that said mother on on side and f***er on the back.. she said the fff word over and over again throughout her concert. she played her guatar and sang song we nere heard. she didnt give an oncore she just said good night. she didn't say thank you for comming she just left the stage. we were very disapointed. and probably will never pay to see her again.
