Enrique Iglesias Comes Out of the Indie Closet

Enrigue Iglesias is known more for his intense facial expressions (now mole-free) and dating tennis stars than being hip to indie rockers like Ringside. But the Latin sensation pays homage to the California duo by covering the band's 2005 tune 'Tired of Being Sorry' on his forthcoming album 'Insomniac.'"I just really liked that song," Iglesias told AOL Music, "and after meeting [Ringside's] Scott Thomas, he was into me doing it. So, we went for it."
Further boosting his indie cred, Iglesias also name-checked acts like Beck and Interpol, and put Gnarls Barkley and Barry Manilow on his short list of dream collaborations. We thought for sure he'd say Timbaland. Read the entire Enrique Iglesias interview for more.
