July 19 2007 at 2:10 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyFoo Fighters was probably the best performance on Live Earth, after my opinion. But Metallica also delivered their stuff!!
July 17 2007 at 7:22 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI believe it was Hamburg Germeny yet I loved metalica's "and nothing matters" and cat stevens's Peace Train
July 17 2007 at 1:05 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyLive earth.. wow well 1st of all great cause it made me think just a tiny bit more of the ways i could help out, but truely I don't know if this is something that is going to keep on. I think most people only cared about the artist but the artist were actually not that great and a lot of the preformenses were boring. I do have to admit that Alicia Keys was Aaa-mazing!
July 16 2007 at 8:09 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyOne sad 'inconvenient truth' about Live Earth is the 250,000 TONS of garbage the concert series created from Pepsi cups, paper towels, etc., that went straight into landsfills around the world (food-stained papers don't typically recycle commercially). The world would have been better off with a really good Internet cybercast and NO live concerts whatsoever than with flying all those artistes in via jets and other polluting transportation. Then there's the electrical energy required to perform and broadcast it (can anyone say NUKES?).
July 15 2007 at 5:43 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyGlobal warming is hype!!!! In the 70's we were all going to freeze because of the hole in the ozone. Now 30 years later we're all going to drowned. The earth doesn't change that fast.
July 11 2007 at 4:54 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyWell I saw some of the concert - would rather have been there - while I don't go in for throwing things at any act - I had to snicker (laugh) when I read about the greeting justin can't sing at all timerlake - that guy is so gross - and he is bringing sezy back? ha ha too much

comment 29 biz- Get your facts straight. Al Gore took a train from Washington DC up to New Jersey not his personal jet. How do you know the celbs arrived in jets, were you flying the planes? The police song, I'm sure you're talking about SOS was fantastic. You are very narrow minded. Did you even understand what the purpose of this whole event was about?
